How To Become A Nexus Member?
Nexus services are available to Nexus member organizations only. Membership is open to organizations which share a common vision, mission and values with Nexus. Membership approval is at the discretion of the Nexus Board of Directors.
Why become a member?

… whose projects tackle both poverty and climate change.
- You need access to the carbon market …
… but are slowed down by lengthy and costly procedures.
Nexus can support you throughout the project lifecycle to access carbon financing in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Being a member of Nexus comes with a certain number of rights and obligations, intended to guarantee Nexus’ optimal efficiency and ensure benefits for all its members.
Rights and obligations
Rights:
- Access Nexus technical support at a discounted price (from project creation to verification and carbon marketing)
- Access funding raised by Nexus
- Participate in general meetings and be elected to the Nexus Board of Directors
Obligations:
- Allocate human resources to Nexus
- Implement high-quality carbon projects
- Share expertise and knowledge with other Nexus members
- Pay annual membership fee
How to become a member?
The application process is in 2 steps:
- Membership application. The selection committee reviews the application form and assesses the applicant’s eligibility.
- If eligible, an in depth screening is performed to assess capacity in management, impact, financial sustainability, projects and network.
